How to get started: Open the Solution Strategy Portal portal and select the link for the applicable solution roadmap to view available and upcoming innovations.

Cerner Solution Sync

The Cerner Solution Sync newsletter communicates exciting innovations that are recently released or coming soon and provides important resources.

How to get started: Open the Cerner Solution Sync newsletter archive to read the latest issue, explore past issues, and subscribe to receive the newsletter directly in your inbox.

The Ideas exchanges are found within community groups on uCern and allow you to engage in a collaborative approach to improving Cerner products.

How to get started: Open Product Categories and locate the applicable product group to explore existing ideas. To indicate interest in an Idea, select Like. Open Ideas Category and Group Hub Structure for help finding the right group or to learn more about Ideas.

Release and Support Information

Release Notes

Release Notes on Cerner Wiki communicate changes to a product from one date or version to another for solutions that are deployed without packages. Open Development Release Notes on Cerner Wiki communicate changes to solutions that allow for open development.

How to get started: Open the Release Notes and Open Development Release Notes to select the applicable product pages. Select Watch to receive email notifications of new release note pages that are added.

Package Text

Package Text provides information such as descriptions and testing guidelines for all client-viewable solution changes included on a package.

How to get started: Access the Distributions page of Cerner.com or view this information directly from the .TXT file attached to the package. When using the Distributions page, enter the package number and select Go. Under the Package Text heading, select the check boxes for the specific package text information you want to view and select View Selected Text Types in Release Text Report.

Release Analysis Report

For certain product groups, the Release Analysis Report indicates which issues exist on selected releases and provides information about the enhancements and corrections resolved in releases, including the implementation impact and reference materials.

How to get started: Open the Release Analysis Report and select the applicable Solution Line. Select your site's current release range. Add any filters for information you want to view and select Generate Report. Review the report directly on the page or select Export to Excel.

Illuminations

Illuminations are unique, Web-based presentations that focus on the vision, direction, functionality highlights, optimization, and release of Cerner products.

How to get started: Open Illuminations and select Join Group. Additionally, you can select Options > Subscribe to receive email updates.

Release Information

The Release Information groups on uCern Connect provide information about Cerner software releases. These groups encourage the exchange of questions and answers between clients and associates about Cerner 's release strategy, delivery, and reporting.

How to get started: Open Release Information for Cerner Millennium and related or Release Information for Soarian, INVISION, MS4 and Related pages. Select Join Group. Additionally, you can select Options > Subscribe.

Model Experience

Model Experience provides a comprehensive approach to implementing Cerner products, workflows, and standards at your organization.

How to get started: See the Model Experience User Guide for information about what is included in Model Experience and how best to use the website.

Reference Pages

Reference Pages provide information to aid in the installation or implementation of functionality. Typically, these types of pages provide back-end (behind the scenes) information. The primary audiences for Reference Pages are people who support a product (such as system administrators) and often other Cerner associates use these materials to support clients with product implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Cerner Learning Framework

Cerner Learning Framework is an end-to-end, contemporary learning strategy delivering role-based, best practice learning journeys that are aligned with Model Experience . Content can be accessed through a web-based portal at the convenience of the user as often as needed to strengthen confidence and help optimize the experience within the platform.

How to get started: See the Cerner Learning Framework for an overview of all the learning offerings. Select the Watch button on the Upcoming or Available Learning Journeys to be email notified of any changes to the Learning Journeys.

IT Analyst Education

The Cerner Certification for IT Analysts program ensures that project team members and solution analysts understand the foundational architecture of Cerner Millennium and how these products impact your organization’s workflow. Participants can also learn how to build, maintain and support your Cerner products.

How to get started: Access Cerner Certification for IT Analysts and select Join Group. Additionally, you can select Options > Subscribe.
